It is a good idea to check your credit report to be certain about the status of your credit record. Some creditors may report to only one of the major credit reporting bureaus, while other creditors may report to all three bureaus. In order to get an accurate picture of your credit, you may consider order your credit report from all three bureaus—Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion.

Overdraft Transfer and Line of Credit

Overdraft Transfer will link your checking account to your designated Credit Union source account. Funds from the source account are paid out when there are insufficient funds in your primary checking account. The entire balance of the source account is accessible for overdraft transfer payments, if needed. The Credit Union will charge a small fee for each overdraft transfer.

Overdraft Line of Credit is a short-term interest-bearing loan from the Credit Union designed to cover insufficient funds in your checking account. The overdraft line of credit will cover the unpaid balance of approved transaction charges, up to the approved amount of your line of credit. The maximum line of credit is $2,000. To be approved for an overdraft line of credit you must qualify under the Credit Union's loan qualification and approval guidelines.

Overdraft coverage is only available with a basic, premium, or small business checking account, and will only apply to the payment of approved transactions made at retail locations and similar third party merchants. The Credit Union does not permit access to overdraft coverage as a direct source of cash.
